Frequently asked about conveyor components

  • What types of conveyor components does NewPaakkola provide?

NewPaakkola offers a comprehensive range of conveyor components, including drums, rollers, roller stands, belt tensioners, conveyor guides, and belt cleaners. These components are designed to optimize the performance and durability of conveyor systems in various industrial applications.

  • How are NewPaakkola’s components optimized for different conditions?

Our components are developed with durability and adaptability in mind. For example, our conveyor drums feature specialized coatings based on application needs, and our rollers are designed with advanced sealing solutions to withstand challenging environmental conditions, ensuring long-lasting performance.

  • What design features make NewPaakkola’s rollers reliable and durable in demanding conditions?

NewPaakkola’s rollers are engineered with multiple protective features to ensure durability and reliability. The rollers have a multi-stage labyrinth seal that keeps water out, even when positioned at a 45-degree angle, and a rubber lip seal that minimizes rolling resistance. The end caps are pressed into a seamless tube, reducing radial runout and ensuring consistent rotation. Additionally, the assembly is conducted in a clean environment to prevent contaminants from entering the bearings and seals, while a grease-filled labyrinth behind the lip seal provides added protection. These design elements work together to maximize the roller’s lifespan and reduce maintenance needs, making them ideal for harsh operating environments.
