Ari Keskitalo on uusi asiakkuuspäällikkö
A seasoned professional, Ari Keskitalo (52), started on Monday as the new Key Account Manager at NewPaakkola. Originally trained as a forestry technician, Keskitalo has later supplemented his education with, among other things, a specialist qualification in leadership.

His previous employers include Outokumpu, Tapojärvi, Agnico Eagle, Pöyry, and Veljekset Toivanen.
“Over the course of my career, I’ve held nearly every possible position in the industry — from miner to segment manager,” Keskitalo says. He explains that his path to this new role involved several coincidences. “Of course, I’ve become familiar with NewPaakkola over the years through various worksites. The operating environment is also familiar, as I’ve worked extensively with different mines throughout my career. I was interested in this position because I consider NewPaakkola to be a high-quality player in its field. I see significant opportunities in Finland’s upcoming mining projects to further develop and expand NewPaakkola’s business. I believe the company still has much more to offer the mining industry in Finland and Scandinavia. I’m happy to bring a new perspective to our operations through my experience,” Keskitalo describes.
This week has been spent getting familiar with the office and new colleagues. According to Keskitalo, his expectations about the team have proven true — they are all top-tier professionals fully committed to their work. “Little by little, I’ve gotten to know the team. There’s still a lot to learn, but I’m genuinely looking forward to working with both colleagues and customers. I’m truly grateful for the warm welcome the NewPaakkola staff has given me,” says Keskitalo.
