Tapio Niemi Appointed as Business Director of NewPaakkola
The newest member of the NewPaakkola team is Business Director Tapio Niemi, who started in February and is a seasoned professional in heavy industry projects. The 45-year-old Master of Science in Engineering (Industrial Engineering and Management) has worked in project roles for internationally operating companies not only in Europe, but also in Asia, the Middle East, South America, and North America.
“NewPaakkola has excellent growth potential, which greatly interests me as a professional. I am entrepreneurial by nature, and in a company of NewPaakkola’s size the operations are dynamic. In addition to project management and developing the company’s operations, I also get to lead projects myself, which is always professionally rewarding,” says Tapio Niemi.
Niemi was born in Pori and currently lives in Lahti with his wife and two primary school-aged children. He works for NewPaakkola both remotely and on-site in Tervola.
